PROTESTGRAPHICS

In the days immediately following 9/11 THINK AGAIN asked, "what can we as artists add to the current political conversation?  Are we going to participate in the changes that we see around us? If so, how?"

PROTESTGRAPHICS was the way THINK AGAIN could best contribute in the immediacy of the moment while people were still gathering information and creating strategies for long term responses. We provided visual protest materials free-of-charge to individuals and organizers across the globe who were responding to xenophobic rhetoric and military action, but did not have the graphic materials to protest the war machine. We created a click, download and print website and mailed packets with posters, templates and instructions to make it uncomplicated for organizations and individuals to wheatpaste graphics, affix bumper stickers and enlarge posters into placards for protests.

The project's meme was ACT LIKE IT'S A GLOBE NOT AN EMPIIRE: CHALLENGE THE PREVAILING NARRATIVE.
